The Australian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2026) supersede the Australasian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2022) and are now available for public consultation in accordance with Framework 1: ASHM Guidelines.
Following the public consultation period, the web version of these guidelines will be integrated throughout the Australian STI Management Guidelines, replacing existing contact tracing content. The Australasian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2022) website will subsequently be archived. The standalone PDF version is provided for those who prefer to download, print or reference the guidelines as a complete document.
ASHM welcomes feedback from clinical experts, community representatives, professional bodies, organisations and interested individuals.
